Caesar's Palace is surrounded by gardens which probably have to be watered twice a day
- with automatic systems of course.
The auto traffic on the strip crawls along and most of the time you can walk faster. Local police ride bicycles. This impressed me very much until I saw that the police in Paris use inlines.
This is also Las Vegas. Big hotels and little boxes! Not really what you associate with
the City but all the hotels have employees and they have to live someplace! This picture
is from Time April 2000 and it illustrates the fact that Las Vegas has grown very fast.
This raccoon never had a chance. Too many streets to cross.
