Our walk up the mountain turned out to also be a wildflower exhibition. I bought a book on Colorado wild flowers but most were not in it.

I should have bought a book on cactus. I think most are some form of cactus.

This is defiantly a cactus. You can see how uncomfortable it would be to fall on this baby.









I recognize this one anyway.
Wild gooseberries (Swedish: krusbär)



This is a creeping plant that often covered big areas.





Unfortunately we were not to witness Bison on the road. But it was a nice thought.
