Central Park is full of people at sunset. Many run or are on inlines while others, like us, just walk. We walkers had to keep out of the way of the inliners who travel fast. Quite a few pushed small children ahead of them on special three wheeled bicycles
There are lots of softball games being played in the evenings. It would appear that anyone who is interested can get into a game. Bring your own equipment! It looked like you had better be a pretty good player if you want to last long.
The tourist magazines had ads that said not to ride on the horse carts because the horses do not have a good life.
So we didn't, but they are a little slow for our taste anyway.
Central Park has plenty of little spots for intimate meetings.
